Our story

My journey with jewelry began in 2006, shortly after graduate school, when I started as a design intern. As an immigrant building a life in a new country, every challenge shaped me. Over time, jewelry became more than a craft. It became a way to express care, meaning, and connection.

In 2015, after becoming a permanent resident of the United States, I started S for Sparkle with a simple belief: jewelry could carry more than beauty. It could carry love, memory, and emotional significance.

The early years were focused on building stability and independence. But over time, I began to understand more deeply why people were drawn to certain pieces.

In 2020, during a time of uncertainty and change, many customers came searching for jewelry that felt personal and grounding. Some were marking new beginnings. Others were navigating grief, transition, healing, or connection. I realized the jewelry people treasure most is often tied to meaningful moments in their lives.

That realization also brought me back to my own experiences. After losing my brother years earlier, I became an emotional anchor for my family. I understood how important small acts of care, beauty, and meaning can become during difficult seasons of life.

Today, S for Sparkle creates meaningful jewelry designed to honor connection, love, transition, and becoming. Some pieces are chosen as personal reminders. Others are gifted to celebrate the people who matter most.
